We have been in business since 2012.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is helping students who are struggling in reading. .
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a reading specialist, I worked in the school system for many years with students who were struggling in reading. This affected every area of their lives. I developed a program that brought my students into reading recovery and proficiency, and have put these same principles into an innovative and animated, computerized program that takes the student into grade level proficiency in 50 lessons.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Kids With Class KC was created by a Readong Specialist, with over 30 years in education. The techniques and strategies in this program are proven for success with struggling readers. Many programs may teach isolated skills, or help with homework. Kids With Class KC is a complete reading recovery program that brings the student into proficiency and growth.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Presently, we are conveniently located in Overland Park, Ks at 5600 west 95th Street, at the corner of Nall and 95th Street.
This is our newest location, and as the need arises, we plan to expand..

If going west on 95th Street as you approach Nall, go through the intersection and make the first right into the Bel Air Building.
If going east on 95th Street right before you reach Nall, make a left into the Bel Air Building.
If going north on Nall as you approach 95th Street, make a left at the corner of Nall and 95th Street, and make the first right into the Bel Air building.

Dana Segur is the owner and lead teacher.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday Through Thursday
3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
and Saturday mornings from 9 am to noon.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment I received from a parent was being told that if she had not found KIDS WITH CLASS KC, her child would not have received the help she needed to overcome her reading problems and would have remained a struggling reader perhaps the rest of her life.
